| AC4G | SO LP ALL | RAN LOW POWER ONCE AGAIN AND HAD A BLAST. ITS ALWAYS IS A GUESS AS TO WHICH BAND ONE SHOULD END THE CONTEST. I CHOSE 40m KNOWING THAT I HAD LEFT 15m AND 20M WITH SOME PROPAGATION. HOWEVER, WAS ABLE TO FIND A CLEAR FREQUENCY AND RUN WITH ABOUT 90 WATTS THE LAST AFTERNOON, BUT SHOULD DONE SO EARLIER. WIN SOME AND YOU LOSE SOME. THANKS ALL OF THE QSOS. WITH ICE MOVING IN THE ARE, I NOTICED MY SWR JUMPED UP PRIOR TO THE END OF THE CONTEST ON 40M AND HAD TO RUN THE INTERNAL TUNER. IT WAS SURE GOOD TO SEE SOME PROPAGATION TO EUROPE BOTH MORNINGS AND JA IN THE AFTERNOON FIRST DAY. HEARD NOTHING ON 10m, BUT WILL BE GLAD WHEN IT OPENS. 73 |
