| S50E | MSH | This was the first real contest for our HAMLETS, from Radioklub Cerkno - S50E. We established two groups. Older one (born in 2007) of 4 ops, licensed from 2017, and younger one (born in 2003-2004) with 3 ops, licensed last year. Me - S51J and OM Leo - S50R, supervised situation, and here and there did some QSO's also. Leo begin the contest, and worked till 8 to contest location, which is 10 km away from Cerkno, our living place. We ended with first group of HAMLETS at about 18 the night, there was nobody contesting, as we don't have very competitive antennas for lover bands, and youngsters were not allowed to spent a night over there. Next morning we came with younger group of HAMLETS, and finished at about 16 very strong wind that began to flow, and there was a danger that we couldn't drive home, because of fallen trees. All in all, this was a good lesson for our HAMLETS. There were some clumsy reactions from some of our HAMLETS, I must apologize for, if someone has some troubles with us. Thanks to Leo for letting us work on his transceiver, and to radioklub to let us work from our contest location |
