| S53TM | SO HP 20M | ROOKIE from 14.4.2017 Again, I've got opportunity to use S50E contest location for this year WPX RTTY. My father - S51J decided, that I can work only on 20m, because other antennas on location, especially on lower bands, are not very competitive. There is YAESU FT-2000D, two 5 element Yagis for 20m, and linear amplifier, with 1500W key down capability. First day weather was good, but second day very bad, with strong winds, rain mixed with snow and foggy. So on Sunday, I finished a bit earlier, because of weather, my school obligation next week, and because of my father's birthday that day. He was helping me prepared working conditions, and drew me up and down to location. Contest was running smoothly, with almost no problem. Here and there comes a HAM, behaving on different way as I was taught, but all in all, no big problems. See you next year, I hope |
