So, I found myself driving a car with reduced power and no toe-in, on a challenging mountain course. The contest continued under poor propagation conditions, with heavy rain and wind throughout the weekend, but the result still far exceeded expectations under those conditions |

| IK0REP | SO LP 40M | Always a very interesting contest that I eagerly await every year. The terrible weather conditions meant, whic hit Italy, that every QSO was snatched up. My compliments to the large participation of our German and American colleagues, who enlivened a contest that would otherwise have been very unremarkable in the 40-meter monoband. I'm sorry I only learned when I sent the log that the participation hours for individual operators had been reduced (category classic 24h or normal 30h for 6h difference??? bha...) I had read last year's rules like an idiot!!! So much effort wasted, and at my age, that's quite a lot!! |
