DK7HASO QRP ALLIC703, K3/10, 5 watt, spiderbeam, 40 m invVee at 20 m, 80 m Delta loop Thanks the organizers for the contest and all who dug my tiny qrp signal out of the noise (quote: 'ur extremely weak here' thanks K7AR). There were great numbers out there - RTTY is still very alive. The conditions seem great on the high bands (10 and 15 m) and 40 m - with surprises such as OA4O and ZM4T - was great for me as well. I missed/ neglected 20 m, much less stns worked. Anyway, again an enjoyable endeavour
DK8ZZSO HP ALLWhat a great and interesting Contest! Before the start of the WPX RTTY Contest I had the following facts: Saturday - I have to quit around 17z (family duties) That means, not so much breaks on Saturday, a long one between Saturday and Sunday - Hardware Contest setup was ready - Last year, I did SO2R with one keyboard, this year I've choose to use two of them. A good decision. - Some bright Radar QRM on 40m at 2355z, so I've choose to begin on 80m About contest: - Despite I was too early QRT on Saturday, a final score is more or less very, very good. Of course, it could be always better, but hey, next year there is an another WPX RTTY Contest, or? :-) - Sunday afternoon an amazing opening to NA. At the end, 37% all Qs were made with NA (2023: 27%), means 600+ QSOs and 250+ PFX from USA/VE - 45% of all QSOs are on 15/10m - 20m OPs has a hard time during Solar Cycle 25. Nice CONDX, no activity. - No problems with hardware at all. some problems with DXLog (more likely MMTTY), restarted three or four times because MMTTY didn't reacted anymore or had a big lag. - I want to apologize if my online score was not all the time visible due DXLog restarts. - Bad behavior #1 - a big thank to EA**** Station for stealing CQ frequency four or five times. They (or he) just appeared on my frequency, starting F1 F1 F1, ignoring free text about QSY QSY FREQ in use etc. I could understand if that happened on higher bands, however, 80 and 40m my signal is enough strong to decode me. - Bad behavior #2: inband/multi Stations chasing new prefix. It is not necessary to send your call 20 times or more. Simply, it is not in the sports and HAM Radio spirit. I understand that there is a big fight going on, they follow the online Score, they fight for every prefix. They were always the same stations and callsigns. You're not the only one on the desired frequency. Maybe someone called before you did? That's rude just to click on the desired frequency and start sending your call without hearing anything. I would like to thank my family who took care of the food and beverages during the competition. Hardware: Flexradio 6600, PGXL, TGXL, Antenna Genius 8x2, 4O3A HP BPF, OM6BPF (really love Flexradio network simplicity) 10 El. 5 band Beam @10m (30ft), 2 El. per Band, 40m home made GP, 80m/160m UA2FZ GP Claiming new German SOAB(T/S) Record (also holding WPX SSB SOAB(T/S) German record) NF3R: fantastic job, and hopefully a new world record in T/S Category MM9I: seems UBN will decide who's better 73, Zik DK8ZZ

DM7XXSO HP ALLOperator age 18 Last year wpx rtty was the first time I tried SO2R. Since then I have tweaked and learnd a few things. Now I use DxLog which has a number server (last year in WinTest without) and 2 decoders per radio, which has helped a lot getting the calls and numbers right. After some issues last year in ww rtty with the missing ptt-delay from the mk2r I now used the ptt-delay from the trx (mk2r somehow mixed the delay of the trx with the amplifier - trx would get keyed before the amplifier). Sadly new problems did arise like slowing down of DxLog after about 10h and later even faster. Even using a second PC for cluster, onlinescore and reducing the cluster traffic by extensive filtering didn´t help. After deactivating the dx-cluster window on my main PC performance was stable for the last few houres. The worst problem occurred on the second evening around 16:30z while working VE7BC. My PC suddenly decided that it didn´t recognise the keyboard anymore and deactivated it. Only a reboot solved the problem :-( Sunday was propagation-wise the better day with strong signals from/to west coast on the highbands, but oddly enough no real long pile-ups occured. Mostly good rates for 10-20 QSOs and then only one call every two minutes for the next 10-20 QSOs. Luckily I managed to get the 7 mio points and 2000 QSOs before my op time was up. I honestly didn´t expect to beat the old DL record of 6,04 mio by such a large margin. Thanks to all my QSO partners

E79QSO LP 40MMy club mate, friend, ham radio OP Josip E79Q from ma city once upon a time gave me instructions for RTTY. As he has been having small problems with equipment and organization for a while. In WPX RTTY 2024 I decided to work with his callsign. As usual, it was really mining, I did a lot of S/P because occasionally it didn't work with RUN. As in previous years for WPX RTTY, WX were bad. Quite strong gusts of wind and rain, on Sunday and some ligtening disturbed my breaks a bit, but in the end I am satisfied with the result. As usual, real low power approx. 85W, 1 element DL in one direction from the city. See you Marin
