V31DJ | SO HP ALL | I dabbled in it last year and decided to work more stations this year. The level of activity was high, conditions were good and the operators were great. My station was dialed in and didn't suffer any hiccups thanks to the N1MM team. MMVARI worked very well |
V55Y | SO HP 15M | Hard work from this part of the world but a lot of fun as well |
VA3DVY | Checklog | First license 05-2022 |
VA3PC | SO HP ALL | I had a keyboard issue near QSO 135, sorry for the mix-up |
VA7EET | SO LP ALL | EU windows were rough with lots of flutter, but FIR/Flutter modes with RTTY engine and 2Tone made it work. Ran DOOK with 2Tone for TX this time, and 2Tone/RTTY Engine/Gritty RX. Buddihex 10/15/20 and MyAntennas EFHW-8010 for 80/40. Lots of great ops on the air as always, and these contests are an amazing way to really test the capabilities of your station, and push it to it's limits. On a few long, full power TX's on 10M I started to smell the early warning of the magic smoke trying to escape from my tuner's coils, so i'll have to dig in and check that out ) |
VA7KK | SO HP 10M | Thankyou to all for the q's. I had a LOT of radio fun in this contest, despite the challenge of propagation conditions. CU in the WPX SSB. 73, Gerard VA7KK |

VE3KTB | MSH | An enjoyable father-son effort. Our best so far! |
VE3WUE | SO HP 15M | Not sure I filled out everything correctly. I was in Marlborough MA at my home, and operated remotely from the VE3EID station in Ontario, Canada |
VE5SF | SO HP ALL | Difficult conditions. Had to turn on the amplifier to make most all contacts - but only 200W out |
VE7BGP | SO LP ALL | I had a lot of fun operating the WPX contest this Wintery weekend |

VX3B | SO LP ALL | All wires loops and verticals |
VY2LI | SO LP 10M | Great conditions but a bad cold reduced my BIC time...ended early. Thanks for the Qs! |
W1DGL | SO LP ALL | My fldigi program kept resetting itself, so a good many of the logs (theirs) will show a number about 2-3 higher than what I actually have in my log |
W1PR | SO HP ALL | Why send 5NN for report? This is not a CW contest. Please send QSO number twice. Saves asking for repeat |
W3SA | SO HP ALL | K4D, KPA1500 and a single wire 80 meter loop at 35' |
W3TB | SO HP ALL | W3TB in Franklin, TN Tennessee Contest Group |

W8JWN | SO HP ALL | Terrible conditions as usual. It seems like propagation here in the UP of Michigan has made all of the RTTY contests this year a wasted effort |
W9ADN | SO LP 20M | Operator age 21. Youth operator, DOB: 01-17-2004 |
W9TO | SO HP ALL | First time ever using RTTY, this was a very enjoyable contest |
W9WI | SO QRP 15M | Sorry about the duplicate sent numbers... using an IC-705 without a computer & had to manually change the macro after every QSO. Twice, I forgot:( |
W9YK | SO HP ALL | glad to be heard with wires |
WA1ONB | SO LP ALL | First RTTY contact in over 25 years. Dusted off my DXP38 modem and jumped into the contest |

WB6JJJ | SO HP ALL | Thanks for another fun contest. Friday night seemed a bit slow but fun times on Saturday and Sunday. There were quite a few QSOs with very low numbers very late in the contest. See you in the next RTTY contest. Bill |
WB7QMR | SO LP ALL | Flex6300, Hamsticks or MaDdog coil ant, SDC, spots, |
WB9TFF | M2 | We got on late Saturday and PT on Sunday. We didn't do as good as last year. Tnx for Q's and 73 |
WC3O | SO LP ALL | Had big fun |
WE6EZ | SO LP 10M | EXCELLENT CONDITIONS ON 10M. WORKED ALL CONTINENTS. ENJOYED THE TEST A LOT! |
WM9G | SO LP 15M | Disappointed. Missed most of contest due to software issues |
WO4D | MSH | Wasn't one of the best contests for us. The Orlando Hamcation is always the same weekend as this contest. This drops the number of operators & also the operating time. Plus the Super Bowl lowered the last hour of contacts. Hopefully we'll do better in NAQP RTTY |
WQ6X | SO QRP ALL | This is another WQ6X QRP WPX RTTY GiG. This was yet another WQ6X QRP remote RTTY GiG from Ramona. I began running remote from my Alameda office, moving to W7AYT's QTH to run the rest of the WPX RTTY contest. The openings on 15 & 10 meters were AMAZING. Discovering a 10-meter opening to EU at 7:30am (PST) was truly Amazing. With a semi-desirable callsign prefix (WQ6) made for a run of EU stations on Sunday morning and later a run of JA stations to end the contest Sunday afternoon. Where were the UA0, VK & ZL stations? Having one of EACH is HARDLY the way to run a Weird Prefix contest. My biggest beef were stations who would move 100hz below me (or work me first) and THEN move down. When I called them, they came right SOAPBOX: back to me (meaning, they could hear me all along if they FIRST took the time to listen before transmitting). Even worse are the stations who call CQ EXACTLY zero-beat with my run frequency. I purposely chose ODDBALL run frequencies (ex: 21,113.13) so when they are zero-beat with me, I know it is NO ACCIDENT. Also, stations need to listen before transmitting. If I am transmitting and you transmit over the top of me, then I can't hear you and you are wasting your time. Instead - delay 1.5+ seconds BEFORE you transmit, and you will hear my signal and there will be no need for me to send a repeat. Pulsing internet dropouts is always a problem, so if I seemed to take a LONG pause before transmitting, it's probably because I am waiting for the pulsing dropout to finish before transmitting. You can read a write-up about this GiG at: http://WQ6X.Blogspot.com |
